- Use AI selectively for ideation and production support, with final visual judgment and finishing handled manually.
- Establish reference images, retouching standards, and approval criteria so complete campaigns remain visually consistent.
- Resolve demanding product surfaces including polished metal, gemstones, leather, glass, translucent materials, and mirrored reflections.
- Manage colour and tonal continuity across image sets, balancing accurate product representation with the intended campaign mood.
- Collaborate with photographers, art directors, designers, and producers to review selects, identify risks, and plan efficient post-production.
- Prepare layered masters, naming structures, versioned exports, and channel-specific files for web, social, ecommerce, and print delivery.
- Perform final quality control at both working resolution and output size, checking edges, texture, banding, colour, artifacts, and series continuity.
- Build multimodal reference systems that combine briefs, source images, lighting direction, crops, and material examples so AI-assisted outputs begin from specific visual constraints.
- Use generative fill, inpainting, outpainting, and structure-guided image generation selectively, then resolve anatomy, texture, edges, reflections, and colour manually.
- Compare models and tools against task-specific criteria including fidelity, consistency, controllability, speed, cost, and suitability for final production.
- Create human-in-the-loop review gates for brand alignment, physical plausibility, provenance, bias, and intellectual-property risk before any generated asset is delivered.
